I've been meaning to get this pic up for my mom. This was July 4th weekend. We went to Fishbones on the Island for the fireworks.

Cheap Seats

I think by now, everyone knows that Im going back to school. Yeah me! Anyway, today in my Anatomy lab, the instructor was talking, like he is suppose to be doing, and he said something that made me crack up.

Right now we are going over all the body parts and body cavities etc., Im really trying hard to pay attention. He is asking questions and Im answering. Im not right all the time but he likes it when students participate. As we are going along in class, the table I was sitting at and my classmates, seem to be the only people answering any questions. Right or wrong we were involved.

Wait for it......

That's when Mr. Leonard pops off and says, "Everybody with the cheap seats getting any of this"? I cracked up and couldnt recover. I dont know why. Maybe it was because I had coffee for breakfast and nothing else, or because I had only 4 hours of sleep last night. Whatever the case. It was funny to me.

Kendra is swimming on her own! Finally.

For Labor Day we decided to take the kids to my mom's place and go swimming after our hot dogs and hamburgers. If you know Kendra at all, you know how deathly afarid of water she is. I ashamed to admit that she still wears floaties. But yesturday, maybe it was pure courage brought on by the holiday, she wanted to swim without her floaties!! She did so well. Granted, she sank alot, but overall she did wonderful. She was swimming to me then to Aaron and back again. I was so proud! My little baby is learning to swim on her own. Watch out Micheal Phelps, Here comes Kendra Joiner!!
